What Is IQV API Middleware?

IQV API Middleware is a web application — a React-based dashboard (dashboard/) paired with a Node.js/Express backend (backend/) — that provides single-point access to IQVizyon's internal digital tools (platform modules), alongside day-to-day operational features such as note-taking, reminders, and sharing notes by email.

Technically, IQV API Middleware's dashboard is a single-page application (SPA) built on React 18 + TypeScript, using the Ant Design / @ant-design/pro-components component library and bundled with Vite. Authentication and all data operations run against a real cloud backend (https://platform.iqvizyon.com) via JWT-based sessions; note attachments are stored separately in a public MinIO object store (https://minio.iqvizyon.com).

General Purpose

The core need IQV API Middleware addresses is giving users a single, secure, role-aware entry point to the organization's otherwise scattered internal tools (platform modules). In doing so, it manages the following operational processes:

  • Platform module management: the organization's internal tools (modules) — their name, URL, and display order — are defined and updated centrally.
  • Note management: users can create, edit, delete, and attach files to notes associated with a given platform module.
  • Reminder management: one or more reminder times can be attached to a note; due reminders are surfaced to the user in real time inside the app.
  • Sharing by email: a note can be sent by email to relevant recipients through the "Mail Box" flow.
  • Audit logging: authentication steps such as login/logout are recorded to the backend's central audit log in the background, without blocking the user flow.

The core capabilities this gives users: access to every internal platform module from a single screen, module-scoped note-taking and file sharing, tracking via scheduled reminders, quick sharing of notes by email, and role-based, restricted access (see Target Users).

IQV API Middleware's dashboard is not an independent data source on its own; it is a front end that talks in real time to IQVizyon's cloud backend and MinIO file server (see System Components and API Documentation).
