Core Functions

The list below summarizes real functions verified from source (dashboard/src/services/*, dashboard/src/components/*). For the full field/action list of each page, see Pages; for the full endpoint list, see API Documentation.

Authentication

  • Username/password login (POST /login), obtaining a JWT token, and storing the session in both Redux and browser localStorage.
  • A 30-second client-side login lockout after 3 failed attempts (useLoginLockout).
  • Automatic logout and user notification when the session expires (401/403 from the backend).

Platform module management

  • Listing every platform module, auto-refreshing it every 30 seconds, and caching it for instant display.
  • Creating, updating, or deleting a module (Settings page only).
  • Clicking a module card to navigate to its target address, either in-app or in a new tab.
  • Setting and saving the display order (queue) of modules, either manually or via automatic rules (edit date / alphabetical).

Note management

  • Creating, editing, and deleting a note associated with a platform module.
  • Attaching files (images or documents) to a note; attachments are stored in the MinIO object store.
  • Instant search across notes by module name or note text.

Reminder management

  • Adding, editing, and deleting one or more reminder times on a note.
  • Automatically notifying the user in-app (via a dialog) when a reminder becomes due.
  • Filtering by "Total / Assigned / Unassigned" reminder counts.

Sharing by email (Mail Box)

  • Sending a selected note by email with a subject/message.
  • Notifying the user instantly of the send result (success/failure).

Audit and monitoring

  • Recording login and logout events to the backend's central audit log (/iqv_platform_log) in the background, without blocking the user flow.

Personalization

  • Choosing light/dark theme, persisted in localStorage.
  • A role-based, narrowed sidebar menu (see Target Users).
