ADR 0001: Application Architecture

Status

Accepted for the scaffold stage.

Decision

Use a single Go binary with internal packages, constructor-based dependency injection, and net/http + chi. Avoid ORM, global mutable clients, and handler-level environment or MongoDB construction.

Consequences

• Clear package boundaries
• Testable health and MongoDB abstractions
• Business packages can be added later without rewriting the host process
